BRIEF OVERVIEW
This special professional seminar aims to help students understand (1) the similarities and differences between the analogue and digital contexts in which information is produced, reproduced, organized, circulated and used; (2) the consequences of mishandling information for political purposes; (3) what tools consumers of (digital) information can use to protect themselves against abuse, with a focus on the legal and institutional instruments available within the European Union.
